This scenic, down-hill course begins up beautiful Rose Canyon in Herriman. Athletes will enjoy a gradual decent though wooded foothills. A spectacular view of the Wasatch Mountains promises to inspire every runner. You will experience a fun-filled, well-supported course though the South Valley. The race ends in SoDa Row, the quaint shopping district in the Daybreak Community, located near Oquirrh Lake. It's the perfect ending to the perfect race. Tell the family to meet you there, and to pack a picnic.

MORE ABOUT THE COURSE...

The course begins up Rose Canyon in Herriman. Runners will proceed down the canyon, following Rose Canyon Road until 13100 S (Main St.). Runners then turn west following 13100 S which will take runners to U-111. They will proceed to follow 111 until 11800 S. They will then run east on 11800 S. which turns into Daybreak View Parkway. Runners will continue on Daybreak View Parkway, finishing the race at SoDa Row in Daybreak.

Race Entry Cap:

The South Valley Half Marathon is limited to 1000 runners.

Entries for participants to use bicycles, skates, strollers, baby joggers, roller blades or other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) will not be accepted.

Weather:

Expected temperature at race start is 63 degrees. The average temperature on August 20th is 74 degrees.
