The Low-Down

I guess you could say I’m really picky when it comes to sunglasses.  I have been on a quest for a number of years for just the right fit and style; not too tight around my temples but snug enough to run, bike or even snowboard without falling off.   I have finally found the brand that works just right for me; the Optic Nerve, Pneumatic.  The wrap-around fit is extremely comfortable and provides great protection from sun and wind. The fit is lightweight yet snug enough to handle a trail run or ride and the polycarbonate lens resin is great protection against the occasional crash landing. The funky style has people asking me frequently what glasses I’m wearing. With 100% UV protection I know I’m doin’ right by  my corneas.

The Goods

The Pneumatic comes in Shiny Black and White with a suggested retail price of $49.00. Optic Nerve also carries everything from goggles to prescription sunglasses and interchangeable lenses. With fans from Cat 1 XC MTB Kim Godfrey to the entire Scott Factory Mountain Bike Team, they have established themselves as a standard in the cycling industry.

They are available at SBR in Orem or online on the Optic Nerve website.
