I had the opportunity to meet the SWIFTWICK company at INTERBIKE in 2009.
I was really impressed with their excitement and energy for the cycling industry. They gave me a pair of socks to try out. I had a long car ride home from the show in Vegas and had done some long bike rides and been on my feet constantly during the 5 day event. I expected that I would be very uncomfortable on the ride home and need some time to stop and stretch to make sure that the lactic acid did not build up in my legs. All I can say is wow they really work. I had experienced the benefits of compression with tights but never with socks. There was a great feeling with these socks that comfortably covered my whole shin and calf just below my knee. These socks are durable and feel great after wearing them multiple times. I like the black socks because I can wear them after a long morning training run under dress pants and they blend in perfectly.
I was so excited to see the SWIFTWICK team at the OR (Outdoor Retailer show) in Salt Lake City last month. They showed me some of the new product line: Arm warmers, wrist warmers, and a 4 inch cycling sock. This company has done a great job of focusing on a product that looks and feels great . All of their products are made in the USA. They can do custom logos on any of the products. As the name suggests they have great wicking technology built into every line.
If you are like me you are always excited to try new stuff. These are the best compression socks that you can find. Check out the online store www.swiftwick.com you won’t regret it.

I definitely agree! I have been using their socks exclusively for a couple of years now. All uses: 1″ cuff for running, 4″ cuff for cycling, and merino wool for trail running.
I wore the Swiftwick compression socks after Ironman Austin 70.3 last October. They rock! In fact, I’ve always thought “a sock is a sock” but Swiftwick socks are remarkably better.
I started using Swiftwick socks for biking and running about a year ago and I’ll never buy another pair of socks. Haven’t tried the compression socks, but may pick up a pair after this review. Plus these guys are in my backyard.

I have been wearing swiftwick socks now for little over a year and while I usually wear the 4′s while cycling and the zero’s while running I recently started wearing the 12″ compression socks while trail running. I would usually only wear those after a long run or ride but after trying these out on a couple of my long runs I have noticed that my muscles have felt better over the distance and the socks were very comfortable through out. This is the new buzz and these actually work. So if you run or ride don’t let your legs down, go and buy a pair you will not regret it. http://www.swiftwick.com
Swiftwick has definitely filled a niche in the sock department! Thank you!!
Swiftwick quality and performance is outstanding. I train 15-20 hours per week on the bike and run. I’ve worn them in every kind of weather condition and you simply can’t wear them out. The structural integrity and lasting performance is unparalleled. For the endurance athlete this is the best sock on the market – period!
If I am training or competing in any length triathlon, this is the only sock that I will wear!!! They are so comfortable most of the time you forget that you have them on. I used to suffer from bad blister but with Swiftwick, I’ve never had a single one!
